This blog documents the progress of our super-cool, pre-fab home "somewhere" in the wilds of Northwest Arkansas. Rocio Romero designed the home, model LVL, and incorporated our custom modifications. GC Don Lourie is doing the build and architect Brad Satterwhite is providing additional ingenuity.

Pouring Concrete, Running Water

Don and crew poured the concrete into the insulated forms today. He said it was the easiest pour he's done and it took only 45 minutes using the pump and crane.

Don also verified that the well works--good news!

Next step: build the floor.

You give us the first two lines of a haiku ("Pouring concrete, Running water, ....?"), but what's the third line?

Suggestions:

1) "From forms come a foundation"

2) "The secret fortress emerges"

3) "Hilltop work in June"

4) "The sky above in June"
