Kitchen Counter Intelligence

Just a quick report to share a few spy photos from the fortress. Mission accomplished on the countertop, sink and faucet in the kitchen. The final quasi-industrial look reminds me of science class for some reason--in a good way--without the Bunsen burners.

Impressive effects of the newly added colors, light, and sculptural shapes add up to dramatic kitchen and bathrooms areas. The solar gain from the massive window arrays was predictable, but surely welcome. No doubt, a unique domain is finally emerging in a shibui style of elegant simplicity. It will be completed when the deck railings and furnishings, and the general landscaping, integrate with the interior, which is unusually open to the outside.
